This event provides a forum for COVOAD organizations to communicate and collaborate with other VOAD partners, as well as state/national disaster response non-profits, government agencies, and partners from the emergency management community. The COEM Conference is held annually, where the Colorado emergency management community gathers to hear from engaging keynote speakers, attend workshops on a variety of topics, and participate in numerous networking opportunities that strengthen the capacity and capabilities of our state partners. One key benefit of attending the conference is that COVOAD members and CO nonprofits are given a free vendor booth when a representative pays for a full conference registration. We’ve been told this year that there is a limited number of booths being allocated to nonprofits, so if you are hoping to capitalize on this benefit, please understand it is a first-come, first-served allocation for a nonprofit vendor booth. Please direct any questions via email to the Conference NGO/Non-profit Coordinator, Shirl Garcia, at pwd.resource@gmail.com.
